In September 2023, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck the High Atlas — Morocco's deadliest in over sixty years. Four years on, these communities are still rebuilding.

Good to know.

Do I need to be an experienced runner?+

No. Many of our runners take on their first ultra here, and seasoned runners and first-timers line up together. You’ll have months of training support beforehand.

We never end anyone’s day because of their pace. Some checkpoints do have closing times, set with our local mountain team in line with local rules for international runners on remote ridges after dark. The main one: reach halfway (about 27km) within 5½ hours of the start. If you’re behind, we drive you ahead to a later checkpoint and you carry on to the finish with everyone else. Can I pay in instalments?+

Yes, and it's the standard option — 10 monthly payments of €205, the first today and the last in September 2027. There's no deposit on top, no credit check and no third party involved.

On the current €1,950 price that's 10 payments of €145. It's €165 a month at €2,150, and €185 a month at €2,350.

Klarna is also available at checkout if you'd rather split it differently.

If I pay monthly, do I still get the early price?+

Yes. Your price is locked the day your deposit clears, not the day you finish paying. Start a plan before 31 October 2026 and you pay the €1,950 rate across the whole plan, even though the instalments run into 2027.

If a plan lapses and isn't picked back up, the place returns to the rate current at that point.

Is the deposit refundable?+

Yes — fully refundable for 30 days from booking, as long as we’re more than 120 days from the start. Closer in than that we can usually transfer your place to another runner or defer you to the next edition — get in touch and we’ll sort out what works.

Can I get the referral discount?+

Yes — bring a friend and you both get €150 back, refunded to each of you once they’ve booked. Just tell us who to look out for. It stacks: every friend who joins is another €150 off for you, so three is €450.

What's included in the price?+

Entry covers the full five days: premium accommodation, all meals from the Day 1 welcome dinner, all transport including airport pick-up and drop-off, Ultra Day logistics and aid stations, professional photos and documentary footage. Everything except flights.

Standard entry includes a premium room shared with one other runner.

Do I need to book my own flights?+

Yes. Flights are the main thing not covered, along with personal travel insurance and lunch on Day 1.

Can I upgrade my room or bring a guest?+

Yes. A private room is +€450 — standard entry includes a premium room shared with one other runner. A non-running guest can join for +€650.

Where is the event based?+

The Taj Atlas Hotel, about an hour's drive south-west of Marrakech. Airport transfers are covered by your entry.

Is Morocco safe to travel to?+

The High Atlas region is operating normally and welcoming visitors. We advise referring to your country's government advice.

Do I need to hire a car?+

All transport is included for the five days, including Marrakech airport pickup and dropoff.
